I am pleased to present this painting, which, I believe, embodies the inseparable
connection between people and the world around them. At first glance, it may seem like
just an image of a couple standing under a bright red umbrella, but every element here is
filled with deep meaning.
My aim was to capture a moment of closeness and understanding between two
loving individuals, their tender hands uniting them in this space. The woman in a flowing
blue dress and the man in a green coat symbolize the harmony created by nature and the
architecture of the town depicted behind them. Just as their love protects them from
external troubles, the red umbrella stands between them and the world, symbolizing the
warmth and shelter they find in each other.
The impressionistic style and sharp angular brushstrokes give the painting a sense
of dynamism, as if the very moment of movement embodies the torrent of feelings and
emotions brewing inside. The town roofs, rising against the backdrop with their intricate
shapes and silhouettes, fill the space with mystery, while simultaneously creating an
