Description
In this painting, I sought to convey the atmosphere of Eastern coziness, traditions,
and the multilayered nature of culture interwoven in patterns, household objects, and
symbols. The composition is centered around antique jugs, coffee pots, and a vessel
reminiscent of ancient tea-drinking and hospitality rituals.
Shades of blue and turquoise reflect the depth and coolness of ceramics, while the
rich red embodies the warmth of pomegranates—symbols of life, abundance, and
spiritual strength. Each object carries its own story, bridging the past and present, East and
West, tradition and modernity.
The background, adorned with patterned tiles and textiles, is a reflection of time,
evoking the grandeur of Azerbaijani art—its miniatures, carpets, and ornaments, which
serve as a bridge between generations.
This work is my dialogue with the past, a story about the beauty of everyday objects
and the harmony that emerges from details.
